Avila

Avila is a town with an entire medieval wall still surrounding it's downtown. It is an amazing sight.


You can walk along the wall for only 1.50e which is amazing:






The rest of the town was beautiful too. It was by far my favorite excursion out of Madrid.

    What makes Avila your favorite excursion? The weather looks fantastic for one thing. The city is beautiful...but they all seem to be!

    You are welcome! And it just had a very cool vibe--like if you got rid of the burger king in the plaza outside of the wall it really could have been medieval times!
